Gk: Ray Clemence
Rb: Rob Jones
Rcb: Ron Yeats
Lcb: Alan Hanson
Lb: Stevie Nicol
Cm: Graeme Souness
Cm: Ian Callaghan
Rm: Billy Liddell
Cam: Kenny Dalglish
Lm: John Barnes
St: Ian Rush

All based on blackand white videos and stories though!

McMannaman? I recall him fading in his latter seasons. I'd have Suarez well before him.

I'm not far off agreeing with EMS. I'd like to see Ian St. John on the bench though, just to bring him on to deliver a knock out punch. ( seriously, google him punching an opponent. Could have had a career in boxing., )

I agree with Suarez comment, but fowler was the best finisher for me very rare not to hit target great eye to goal coordination.

No one has room for Beardsley, Aldridge, Whelan.

Understand what you mean Acered. I believe us LFC fans are blessed with the number of player's that we can pick from for an all time XI. The player's we can pick from span at least the last 50 years. How many teams in Europe never mind the UK can say the same.

Or:

1. Adam Bogdan
2. Jan Kromkanp
3. Paul Konchesky
4. Torbin Piechnik
5. Martin Skrtl
6. IGOR
7. David Speedie
8. Christian Poulsen
9. Sean Dundee
10. Erik Meijer
11. El Hadji Diouf

System? Interchangeable diamond, false number 9 and a goal sweeper. Igor as the screen with Poulsen the quarter back.

Ouch. Bit harsh to have Skrtel and Bogdan in there ahead of Itandje and Paletta.

At least Bogdan had a good shootout. Did Itandje ever play? Skrtel for all his deficiencies won player of the year once upon a time! Paletta again, did he ever play?

When Steve Macmanaman first hit the scene he was a real player. Sad that he left but went on to win the Champions league scoring and voted man of the match.

Not bad i would say.

Hi Ed 01

Just remember Tommy smith scoring in 1977 European Cup, top goal, however i went to see Emlyn Hughes at a gentlemens evening and he was so good, got up and rolled of his honours-impressive. To be honest I forgot about Tommy Smith, great player and leader, how we could do with someone like that now. However he would probably still miss a few games due to a few reds.

Whats your favourite team Ed.
