I know our owners have a policy of bringing through and buying young talent, but we need success NOW!! THE ZLATAN would be perfect for that, and also falcao wants to stay in the premier league, eds what are the chances of us entering the race for either of them 2? I'm getting fed up with hearing us after championship and second rate euro players, this is liverpool football club.

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe you are even asking.}

I know, I must have woke up on Mars.
While we are there let's bid for messi.

But seriously we need at least 1 statement player!! another Torres/suarez
Ings don't give me the twinge that they did.

Mark my words, the striker acquisitions are done. We'll see Ings and Origi start next season until Sturridge is fit, then we'll see Sturridge and Ings with Origi and Sinclair as back up.

Honestly, I can't understand why anyone in their right mind would want to even consider Falcao? The guy may as well be a myth of a player who once was at this stage. The future for Falcao is Qatar or Asia since they're the only people crazy enough to pay huge wages just for a past it name.

Ozone "until Sturridge is fit, then we'll see Sturridge"

You won't be seeing much of Sturridge then.

Ozone, you said the last thing last season, it backfired. We get it man, you hate the owners.

The great origi Who got voted in to the French league team of the year (worst team that is) and went 6 months without a goal. I would chose out of contract Carlton Cole over him. Well. That just ridiculous but you know what I mean, surely the owners don't plan on us winning the league. because at this rate it will NEVER happen, I'm a better manager than Rodgers and with my football manager 2015 skills.
1 man nearly won us the league last year SUAREZ he demanded the rest of the team played to his standards.
While Rodgers was on the sidelines thinking about his Atkins diet and new teeth

We made Torres before moving him on. Yes he was decent at Athletico but become top class at Liverpool. A quote from someone a few days ago.
'Liverpool make great players, they don't buy them'

Yea this is true but I don't think you can put Origi or ings on the same planet as Torres, he was still very high profile even before he came,a lot of people were after him including the mancs and he came with a fairly big price (back then).
we was also in the champions league then,
Iv always thought we replaced a striker with another great striker
Owen took fowlers place
Torres took Owens (-2 year gap with barros then crouch)
Then suarez took torres place,
So hopefully there will be another world class on the horizon

Origi will be an important player next season. People said the same negative things about Emre Can before he played, Origi is on that similar level I assure you. Pace, power, quick feet, finisher, i'm excited.

Agree with haych on this one. I for one am very excited to see what this kid can do, from what i saw at the world cup he looked like a more gifted bolasie and let's not forget what boladie has done to liverpool this year.

My only concern with Origi is if he doesn't score a first half hat trick on his debut that people will be all over him.
He's a young player with good potential, I don't want him under enormous fan pressure, but maybe that comes with a club like Liverpool,

They should extend that quote to 'Liverpool make great players, they don't buy them, but they do usually sell them once they become great'.
