Crazy story about Liverpool reaching a deal in principle for Alexandre Pato….

Haych

1.) 07 Nov 2015 15:36:17
Came here to ask the exact same question. Doesn't seem credible, or a particularly good idea!

2.) 07 Nov 2015 16:23:25
The creditworthiness we could over look with Balotelli being bought by the club. Being a good idea i totally agree with. Injuries have taken it away from him.

3.) 07 Nov 2015 22:14:39
Some halfwit has already changed Pato's wiki page to say he plays for Liverpool, lol!

4.) 08 Nov 2015 10:06:21
"A deal in principle"
[translate to plain engish]
"a story made up by someone with a vested interest"

Now that Firmino is on the sidelines for a few weeks Teixeira should get a look in surely, he is about the most ready player we have to properly break into squad be it as a squad player.

We have apparently signed the Internacional Brazilian Allan now. sorry for the copy and past.

"Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte are reporting on Saturday, that Internacional have sold Brazilian midfielder Allan to Liverpool for £500,000."

Haych

1.) 05 Jul 2015 12:41:35
The Brazilian Allan to go with the welsh xavi lol

2.) 05 Jul 2015 12:28:25
There are some great highlights of him on Youtube by MrBoywunder. Looks like an maestro of a midfielder with great range of passing and likes a tackle.

Is it actually confirmed Eds? How could he qualify for a work permit?

{Ed002's Note - When he meets the set criteria. He is a long way from the first team.}

3.) 05 Jul 2015 17:57:11
It seems like a very small fee for a future star. Is he over hyped. ? Maybe so.

4.) 06 Jul 2015 15:25:25
He's only 18 and not a first teamer at Internacional. Will be in our U21s for a couple of years initially. Just a kid. Left-sided CM, all rounder but known for passing ability. The Brazilian Joe Allen is actually a fair description in this case!

Ed/s do Liverpool hold any interest in Jonathan Tah.

Haych

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool.}

29 Jan 2014 14:45:34
Apparently a €18m fee has been agreed with LFC and Dnipro for Konoplyanka. LFC just need to agree personal terms with him and have offered 4 and a half year deal.

I want us to sign Wijnaldum purely to show we are willing to spend 20-25mill on players that play for teams in England other than just southampton 4X.

Haych

1.) 19 Jul 2016 17:10:24
Forgot Andy Carroll and benteke already? Lol.

2.) 19 Jul 2016 17:15:32
And mane.

3.) 19 Jul 2016 17:15:54
And firmino.

4.) 19 Jul 2016 17:53:01
Suarez.

5.) 19 Jul 2016 17:57:41
Didn`t think that post through did you, Hyach?

6.) 19 Jul 2016 18:45:18
Cincy and most others read again other clubs in england for over 20 mil not Southampton so of here comments benteke and carroll fit.

7.) 19 Jul 2016 18:48:26
Tj you've had a bit of a blunder there he said not Southampton and from a English team so firmino and mane are neither exceptions to what he was saying :p.

8.) 19 Jul 2016 19:00:15
Shot your bolt a bit prematurely there TJ my friend 😂.

I hope Jurgen ins't afraid to sub off Milner if he again has on of his uninspiring displays.

If Klopp hasn't made you feel positive about the current squad we have already then I don't know.

First task for new manager sort out the defence. not much we can do in terms of buying but get the formation and responsibilities across to the existing defenders ASAP.

Re-sign Agger on a pre contract he's still only 30. Have him and Sakho as our choices for the LCB role.

Move one of Lovren or Skrtel on in the summer and get in a replacement, Howedes would do and that should be the CB sorted.

Left back and right back doesn't need addressing

Haych

1.) 05 Oct 2015 12:29:17
It is four years since Agger, once a fantastic player, started going downhill. You obviously feel he has improved playing in the Danish Superliga .

2.) 05 Oct 2015 12:32:00
As much as I used to love Agger even though he's 30 I didn't like how he was playing,regularly losing out in the air,letting his mark run off him at set pieces and being bullied.It became so painful watching player with place square him up and jostle inside and out,as a ball playing centreback he was good,but I feel injuries and lack of games took their toll. I wasn't really impressed with him in his final 2 year stint. Not helped having Skrtel next to him,but I felt his own individual errors added up too. we need to move on for me
but I agree any new coach needs to get rid of skrtel and or Lovren. It's not working.

3.) 05 Oct 2015 14:53:15
Agger did wonders as it was his reading of the game, his organisation, his quality which hid just how bad Skrtel was. If you think about that you then realise how good he really was. He could've been on Ramos/Pique/Varane levels if it wasn't for his injury nightmares. I think you are being harsh bob and forgetting all the good he did. His last 2 years weren't his greatest but he was still far and away the best defender at the club before he left - his experience, coolness on the ball and, most importantly, ability to read the game and marshal the defence were invaluable - it is not such a great coincidence that, since his departure, our defence has looked a hell of a lot worse. Sakho has the potential to be quality - hopefully the new manager gives him the run of games required.

Rafa also dropped babel for riera/ replaced Alonso with Lucas (bless him) . what's your point?

Haych

{Ed001's Note - he dropped Babel for having a terrible attitude and playing crap. Not sure why you bring him up, unless it is to show how little point there is in reading your player assessments if you rate Ryan. Nice lad, still follows us, but he was too busy trying to make it as a musician to put in the effort for us.

As for Alonso, he was not replaced by Lucas. That is simply not true.}

Muriel's done better since joining sampdoria. Regaining the form he had in his earlier years in the Serie A, but that is where he should stay. I suspect he will be a late bloomer like Eder and by the time he reaches his late 20's, will start to shine.

Ed was it N'Koudou Liverpool were looking at from france?

also does lfc have any interest in Dennis Praet?

Haych

{Ed002's Note - Georges-Kevin N'Koudou of Marseille - perhaps a youngster for the summer for one of the many clubs who have looked at him - including Crystal Palace, Valencia, Southampton, West Ham, Liverpool and Manchester United. Marseille would certainly be open to a very high and over the odds offer.

Interest in Anderlecht's Dennis Praet has run hold and cold for a while and the likes of Ajax, Southampton, Newcastle, Hoffenheim and Dynamo Moscow have moved on in the past year. Both Sevilla and Valencia had offers rejected in the summer whilst Aston Villa were also being kept informed by Anderlecht of any approaches for the player, but there is no way the player will want to move there and they won't have that sort of money to spend on one player. Juventus were represented at a couple of games but were, I understand, unconvinced by the player - but I suspect interest will continue knowing that his value might well tumble as his contract is running down. Fiorentina has had several meetings with representatives of the player and Anderlecht - and were seemingly getting to the point where an agreement over a January transfer could be reached but interest in another player has given them an unexpected twist to deal with and they are now out of the picture. Arsenal has again looked at him in recent weeks, once they knew that there could be a January bid from elsewhere, but I am not aware of them taking it any further just yet. I understand that Liverpool are again interested in the Praet, and it is a player Klipperty would like. Praet may well provide more versatility than others as he has the ability to play as a winger as well. Everton (again), Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund have also been showing recent interest.

The search engine works for all of this.}

If we are going to play that style we need proper dominant defenders.

We didn't give up on him Rodgers did. When ever he played for the first team he never had a bad game, but Rodgers overlooked Suso in favour of Sterling's pace.

Stewart dribbles a little too much sometimes and is prone to get tackled in our defensive third.

Its not a three game ban, its an extra tournament during a league campaign. We don't know what form he'll come back in, or how fatigued and what knocks he may pick up. All that plus we are short on a wide forward to begin with.

Haych

{Ed001's Note - that's why we need to develop a couple of the youngsters now, while we have the chance, rather than keep having to buy in the future.}
