Per The Athletic-James Pearce this morning:

-LFC expect Henderson to stay, no approach for the player so dar
-LFC could yet still move for a young if the right options becomes available
-LFC will NOT pursue a 3rd midfielder unless one of the current crop leaves
-LFC Romeo Lavia is admired but as things stand they are not pursuing him. They do not believe they have a gap to fill currently and they also feel that an asking price of £50M is far too high for a teenager who has only made 17 more senior than Bajcetic.

Pierce knew nothing of DS transfer so I’d not listen too much to him. Plus not sure how well he’s connected to the club after his spat with Klopp last season.

Makes sense to me. A midfielder has to go in order for Lavia or Thuram to be signed. It seems faith will be put in Fab going into the new season.
