What dog you make of this Clop decision. Sys he informed FSG Nov.

Any info on why?
Though time last year, he looked fed up. Would have been the time to quit but he rebuilt the mid in summer 23 and looked energised this season. Results good too and building another great team hopefully.
Is there some thing there we are not privy too re FSG or the club direction/
Or is he just burnt out?
When he signed the extension a while ago to 2026 looked like he would be here until then. Is and was the type to stay the course if you will so its amour surprise he's quit now.
just looking for a reason I suppose.
{Ed001's Note - he is just burnt out. He has never been in a job this long and he left Dortmund due to being burnt out. This is nothing to do with FSG.}

ya fair enough 25, but he has had a fecking mare this season. I mean in 5-6 months there has been no discernible improvement. deterioration if anything.
Is a world class coach not supposed to improve the team through coaching? In fact the players look and play like they don't know what they are doing, or supposed to do. Maybe its the Ljinders thing but who knows.
{Ed025's Note - we dont know the whole story though patty, who,s to say hes not had a say or given the funds to upgrade the midfield?, hes not going to go public and slate the owners but i cant see a manager of his calibre not being able to see where the problems lie mate..

Surely the way to counteract this situation is for us to drop deep, be compact and engage them in our half. Then quick counter, we have the players perfect for it. This high without pressure is suicide.

You alluded to the fact the Liverpool are not that big of a dry for coaches - in the article and previous posts I read recently
I note your backround in sports psychology in various spots including footy and you have gotten some good calls correct on here
In terms of Liv not being a top top draw - Do you know why that is? Im mean we may be behind the mega clubs such as Barca, Real, Bayern maybe but they are a handful. In term of history and recent success, finances, fans, facilities etc surely we are right up there (top 5-6 clubs europe? ) We all love Liverpool and think we are the no.1 and I appreciate that's not actually the case but we are surely top 5-6 clubs in europe (the world by extension) .
What gives i suppose is my point?

we are poor atm. the last few games (6-7 really) we have been not great. no fluidity at all, forwards not scoring. Im not convinced on Nunez and Diaz doesn't look sharp. Or recovered from injury, idk
Its similar to the CB season when we were getting results but we could all see there were major problems. We were top then too. We bombed from this time of year onwards and collapsed. Only got top 4 because of THAT Allison header.
It feels like that really. results instead of performances. hopefully not but we'll see
need to be quicker in our play.
