No doubt it feels like we should be signing someone (as everyone else is) but it's clear that we won't sign just anyone. Has to be the right player to improve us.
We'll see where we are after tomorrow, but for me it's clear a title and Champions league push are the target and everything else will be sacrificed. I'm not sure that guarantees us silverware and that's what I want regardless.

Poor konate. You'd really think the lad didn't exist.
Let's get really real for a minute. We don't have oil money, we have owners who HAVE invested heavily in this team and have expanded anfield and provided a new training ground this was pre C.V.. Had it not been for C.V. maybe we would have brought another player in addition to konate but such is life. How many new contracts have we tied the spine of our team down to? We have the best manager in the league and the best fans let's not let the asterix season last year turn us into doubters again!

OP, we did sign someone. His is a CB named Ibrahims Konate from RB Liepzig. You may have heard of him.

Haha not jealous of him, maybe more the lack of movement in the transfer market on our part. However, posted earlier and said that it’s clear we won’t just sign anyone just we have to accept that.
