With ronaldo confirmed basically, do you think this will be one of the closest four way titles races in history? For me United we’re fourth favourites but there’s doubt, despite being 36 ronaldo brings you 20 goals a season, which United did lack. Strengthened at the back, up front and have good creativity in the middle - but lacking a cdm and a decent manager. City with no striker but a wealth of talent, strong defensive line and won’t struggle to score plenty, but maybe drop points because of the out and out striker in some games. Chelsea, I like tuchel, but arguably too defensive, however that does give them a solid base. If lukaku hits the ground running, that’s another 20 goals, plus mount, Havertz, Werner, pulisic etc will get you goals and creativity too.
Then us. a lot depends on key played staying fit, but still got the strongest 11 for me. Replacements aren’t bad at all, but players like salah mane fabs Trent vvd and Alison are irreplaceable for me. I’m sure we will be up there.
With fans back too, VAR improving, could be a hell of a ride!

Ed0025 🤣 I’m pretty sure we were top or close to the top of Var decisions against, that season as well. I don’t think Everton had many Var decisions go against due to their lack of attacking ability. It’s hard to disallow a goal or not award a pen when you’re averaging 1 shot a game 😜.

Ed0025 surely Tom Daley would be an adequate replacement. He also loves to dive and can’t play football.
