I don't agree. 3 is overdoing it. 1 or 2. Unless we sell fabinho and or Thiago. But 1 must be top top class.

Id argue that Matip, Gomez, Williams and Nat should all be sold and be replaced by 1 LCB that can play LB, another top class CB and two of the best from the academy.
Bearing in mind that investment is surely coming in/ going to be announced as soon as this window's business is done. another clever FSG move to stop prices getting even more insane.

I think we’ve got loads of young quality within the youth ranks to pad the squad out to be going all out on 2/ 3 absolute world class or soon to be world class (after all we are Liverpool football club we turn players into worldys can’t think of the last time we bought the finished article .

Gomez won't be sold as he has 4 years left on his deal. I do agree that Matip should go as well as Phillips if he only to help his career as well as getting in a LCB for cover for VVD cos there is no way VVD should be playing as much as he has been over the years.

Macallister for the midfield with TAA joining him and using Bradley/ Ramsay as RB. And i know this won't happen but my dream would be Gvardiol for the defence.

I think theirs a case for joe go to stay if we signed a left footed cb.

If Joe, Matip, Williams, and Phillips all go with one LCB coming in, doesn't that just leave us with only 3 CB options?

Personally, I would keep Joe purely because he seems more comfortable on the flanks than Matip. Would be a decent option to rotate with Konate on the right with a new LCB (Ndicka? ) rotating with VVD.

TTA will not play midfield next season, he looks great at the minute drifting into a central position running into the spaces with nobody picking him up. Play him as one of 3 midfielders with little space and responsibility to track back is a different story.
Two new midfielders and a left sided centre back will be our summer business.
