Dammit. Lampard actually won a game. Was hoping the losing strak would continue

@Ed25, I'm praying that Everton stay up just for you. I'll admit that you're my favorite Ed

Here's hoping that the Blue half of Merseyside has a good weekend just like the Red half.

{Ed025's Note - cheers JLCBM, we have 2 extremely difficult games at brighton then home to city next so im not expecting much from them games, our last 2 are away to wolves then home to bournemoth and hopefully they will be safe by then and started their holidays early mate......but we all know football doesn,t always work like that..

I can't see you getting many points out of them games Ed. City and Brighton will beat you. Wolves seem to have come into fork. Bournemouth a possibility. what do you think?

{Ed025's Note - i think it will be very difficult marty ..but dare i say not impossible, brighton looks like a loss then city next up, we play them in between their 2 games with Real Madrid and if Arsenal lose at Newcastle today they might just take their foot off the gas, hopefully, then we have the then safe wolves and bournemouth who will have hopefully have their minds on sunny beaches by then...so who knows?, i was out watching the game yesterday with my red mates and one of them asked me would it really be the end of the world if we went down, ..i replied YES.. :)

That's the thing though with this Everton team, you simply don't know what games they'll actually turn up for - same team could beat Brighton and City and lose to Wolves and Bournemouth.

{Ed025's Note - we are just not good enough to get points off Brighton and City bill, but Wolves and Bournemouth could be a different kettle of fish, mind you we could lose all four so im not counting my chickens mate..

JLCBM you are clearly a wool if you’re saying that mate! Try living in the same vicinity as them and you’d definitely alter your post.

{Ed025's Note - fortunately not every red is as bitter as you waro, i just dont get the hatred when we are all just scousers at the end of the day..

You always seem to escape it eds! We will see. The teams involved are all poor so i can't predict anything. If you go down then it could result in you sliding down to the 1st division if you get a points deduction as well. Obviously championship first. Roll on the end of this season for both teams, red and blue.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely marty, it is what it is mate and it wont alter my love for everton...even though it is very frustrating..

It's historically consistent, since the longest time. Better to just disregard, as most of us do.

What is a wool?

Anyway, besides the tense rivalry, Everton has always been a team that can take points off any team in the league. and I do actually enjoy watching them now and again. this season aside of course

Keep the faith Ed, I think you'll be safe at the end of the day.

Leeds and Leicester have more difficult games than Everton in my opinion, which will be your saving grace. 4 points might actually be enough for you ?.

{Ed025's Note - I would bite your arm off for 4 points JLCBM. I think we are still in serious trouble mate and it’s where those points are coming from that’s the problem. By the way a wool is a woolyback= someone not from Merseyside.

Then I'd be a one armed woolyback. can you imagine ?

The 4 points will come in your last 2 games.

The drama on the final day is going to be like something never experienced before.
