That was the first time I’ve heard him actually admit what is wrong and how they’ve struggled to rectify it. He even hinted that they were wrong to think they could get away with it and oppositions have capitalised on it this season.

I was so pleased to hear him say it FPF. I'd given up hope and just accepted Lijnders was embedded in like a verruca.

That interview definitely implied we well be going back to counter pressing from now on ??.

Thiago and fabinho need to be sold then as Thiago is just not suited to it and fabs is just not as mobile any more and is a liability for that system now .

I did fly I know hendo isn’t the greatest player these days and has his downfalls but I genuinely think he is of use to the squad mate and as club captain I think his leadership along with Milner albeit bit part roles is essential for us as a club mate .
Won’t be a popular opinion but I genuinely believe the lads that have served us so well over the last 7/ 8 seasons should be allowed to play a supporting role to the future .

OP, Ed01 told us this months ago. IMO, No new ground was broken here apart from Klopp coming out to say so himself, not that I needed to hear it, IMO.

That said, it is great that he said so cos that could mean that he is DONE with Lijnders' galaxy-brained schemes and clout-chasing rubbish. At least, I would hope so.

for me its the forwards Klopp was mainly having a go at re the press disappearing and he also indicated that's why Jota is in the team ahead of Nunez as well of course as Nunez not speaking a word of English which is clearly important to Klopp re communication. He's also indicated that Elliot and Carvalho are training really well so maybe he thinks they are not good enough in the press.
