Is Caicedo really on liverpools list of midfielders, if so will the rumoured Arsenal bid force a bid from us?

All Arteta is doing is what Klopp and FSG should have been doing last summer in the transfer market for and going for younger midfield players.

Xhaka and Partey are 30 years old simlilar to thiago and hendo in their thirties, all Arteta is doing is strengthening while at the top because it's easier at the top to strengthen than mid table, Arteta is simply looking to replace 30 year old midfield players with younger fresher legs which any good manager worth his salt would do, it's called foresight and good planning for the future not the present.

Shankly on his last day as the LFC manager left Bob Paisley, Ray Kennedy as his farewell present, thus maintaining his mantra at strengthening when you're at the top even though it was his last day as LFC manager, such as man city does every year since 2011, and Ferguson always did.

Never rest on your laurels as you will be punished for it, just as we have found out this season thus far.

Strengthening at the top? no point being top in January! They come 2nd and we come 4th there's absolutely no difference between both clubs seasons in terms of looking forward to 23/ 24.This surely should be especially true to the people sick of hearing the"we nearly won the quadruple"bollox.
