Not worried about the team, nunez will learn. I may get battered for this, but i just don't get Elliott, reminds me of aiden mcgeady, all running with no end product

No end product? U mean no goals, right? If that's how players being assessed, then you are spot on.

It's fair enough when people have to say nunez will learn the poor thing regards his red card is all the crap Anderson has or is enduring on social media its just not right he is after all a human being now fair enough he did embellish minimal contact if any but to get all that abuse is a bit much I believe Darwin will become all the better for it and on a side note I liked sounesscomments ITS a man's game ha ha.

That why a lot of fans want a new attacking midfielder.
Elliot and Fabio are very young to take such responsibilities.
They need to play under no pressure, so will develop.

Elliot had a good game on Monday. I don’t think he was outstanding like some but he was probably our best player along with Diaz. It’s only his 2nd start in the league since his injury so it’s a very promising start to his early career. Hopefully as he finds his feet more he’ll start creating lots of chances for our forwards and even himself.

Elliott has a lot of talent. He is a tidy and creative player with good technique. He's not v fast which makes him not so good for the wide forward position. I think he's perfect for the right cm position he played against Palace and he played decent. He was brilliant before the injury and I believe it will take a long time to come back from that mentally. I feel since he's come back from the injury he's afraid of contact challenges which is only natural but is leading him to pass the ball off early and not use his skill to beat players.

Elliot, Fabio and Jones we need one or two of them to make their mark this season. We can’t challenge for the pl if at least one of them doesn’t start to push on. We need goals and assists from these three. Fabio had a difficult chance and Elliot should have done better with a couple of final balls and his header. Fine margins but we need end product asap.

Elliott has promise but I don't think he's going to be top, top class but does he need to be?
If he fits into a successful system what's the problem?

Wow, are people really making a judgement call on a 19 year olds career? He is one of the most promising young players in Europe and is still in the running for the Golden Boy award. He has just come back from a career threatening injury and is training with some of the World's best players. I don't think anyone on this site can say how good he is going to be as he is still so young.

Let's just enjoy having two extremely talented young players knocking on the door of the first team and hope they fulfill their potential. Pretty sure you don't need to bag in 50 goals a season to be considered world class.

Stuie I don’t think any of us can make judgment calls on anything LFC mate. It just looks like people are giving their thoughts on him.

Elliot has been one of the best players on the pitch for us every minute he’s played, probably one of the few positives to the start of the season. I honestly do not know what the rest of you are on about?

That's all well and good JK, but to give an opinion such as . 'he has no end product' after 2 league games and a horrific injury. Considering Salah didn't score from open play for about 12 games, I assume he is just as bad. I am by no means against giving opinions, that's the whole point of the site, but it's good to provide a bit of context as to why, otherwise it just turns into slagging off players with no reasoning.

Personally, I don't see Elliot as the type of midfielder to score a shed load (happy to be wrong obviously), but see him as more of a creative assist player who can unlock a packed defence.

Stuie to be honest mate when I commented to you a few of the comments you must have seen weren’t showing on mine.

With regards to the Elliot end product I’ll chip in and say I’d like to and can’t wait to see more of it. I’d love to see him become our playmaker like KDB. On Monday apart from Diaz (once) no one had any end product hence why we only scored the 1.

Elliot is what 18/ 19 and he is playing to an average standard in a top level team. To me that is brilliant. How often does that happen? When was the last time a midfielder of that age came through the ranks and slotted into the team and we were comfortable with that? To me that shows an incredible amount of talent and discipline at such a young age and how much better he can get in the many many years to come. Same with Jones and Carvalho. Yeah sure we could buy midfielder approaching their peak in their mid twenties, but we might then hamper the aforementioned youngsters progress. Give them a chance and if they don’t perform then fine. But for me performing averagely at a top team in the hardest league in your teenage years bodes very well.

Stuie - if we could combine Elliot's all round performance with Mo not doing anything except score a goal and bag an assist, then we'd have some player lol.
