Let's face facts our squad has finally been exposed .
City, united, tottenham, maybe Leicester an as bad as they have been chelsea have stronger quality squads than ours .
We have relied way too much on trent / robbo and the front 3 to the point were the bench is not trusted, even the way we play has become stagnant and predictable.
Bobby has been off form for 18 months but the other 2 bailed him out usually, but now them 2 have hit a brick wall .
The hard thing about this is we are screwed as the owners are not built to support a team financially who wants to be serial winners and we have stood still in the league without a fresh spark in the squad.

What a load of rubbish. Bad run of form and all of a sudden Leicester have a better squad than us. Give your head a wobble. Our 2 main centre backs got injured for the season. Meaning moving midfielders back. Thiago injured from an awful tackle so never got a chance to gel. Jota who by the way we bought to support the front 3 got injured when he was on fire. This bad run of form is the result of 3 seasons of full pelter right to the end and unfortunate lengthy injuries. No chance to rest robbo with kostas injured basically since he signed. Rest trent for neco and fans like you tear him apart for one bad game. If our squad are so average then klopp must be god to get them to win the league and the champions league. C.V. has hampered us financially otherwise I'm sure we would have purchased a centre back. We are champions and now every team raises their game against us and sticks 11 men behind the ball. Yes we should be able to find a way through and we did all last season but every team goes through a bad patch and your post is just embarrassing.

There are stronger squads u agree. But our first 11 is of the highest quality. Unfortunately we can't use our first 11 for the foreseeable. I'd love super rich owners who want to spend 300m on players and wages, who wouldn't l? But that's not our lot so we make do and still win major trophies.

Yes but we need money spending now, lovely that jota and thiago signed but past 3 seasons only them, taki and Harvey elliot have come to the club . I would love to be positive but don't continually blow smoke up the teams ass when they need a rocket up there instead .

Yes our main centre backs got injured but that doesn’t excuse the lack of creativity and goals scored. We are toothless up front, Trent is having a shocker, wijnaldum isn’t doing enough (why would he, he’s off soon anyway), and then the games that klopp had Henderson playing at centre back when we have capable youngsters that can fill in beggars belief. By having Henderson playing at the back means we lose a lot of the attacking impetus. To be honest, the title race is done because I can’t see us getting out of this rut, unless city, Spurs, Leicester and utd suddenly have almighty blips. As for top four, we will struggle to get if we don’t sort it out quick. Losing is team like Burnley at home is an absolute embarrassment.

{Ed001's Note - do you remember Burnley's form at the start of the season? And what caused that? Oh yes, their two centre-backs were out injured. Once they came back, their form and performance level improved gradually. It does make a huge difference, no point ignoring it.}

That is true but on the flip side Leicester have had injuries at the back as well. They also have to sell a main player each year but seem recently to replace them with even better players. I understand missing 2 cb's is a blow but we are talking about not being able to beat poor sides like Fulham, WBA, Newcastle, Burnley etc. Confidence is on the floor, not one attacking player is on form or confident how does that happen to half a team all at the same time?

If you said how many of their players get in our 11 even without Gomez and VVD it would maybe be 1 or 2 at most. That obviously means our players are performing well below their levels. Only 2 or 3 of our players are having a good season what has happen to the other 15 or so players? I will be happy with top 4 but we need to start winning asap.
