It seems that Galatasaray are keen on Thiago. Media has their reps coming over to speak to the player and the club.

I think Thiago gets sold this window WDW what do you reckon?
We Can’t keep losing all these players on a free.

I was in the camp to sell him if we get the chance but thinking about it, we need a big squad full of options and quality. Thiago is an incredible option to have when he's fully fit. I say we keep him for one more season and we win everything in sight.

If he manages to stay fit, he gets a year extension to his contract and bows out winning the Champions League with LFC putting him in a small group of players to have won UCL titles with 3 x different clubs from 3 x different leagues. This was his goal when he joined us and he deserves it.
previous 2 x UCL titles he owns:
19/ 20 Bayern Munich
10/ 11 FC Barcelona.

Hope he goes TBH. Would expect we'd still get a reasonable fee because of his reputation. Any truth in the rumours of a Thiago sale though Eds?

Ultimately, it will be Thiago's decision. I will maintain that he's been poorly managed by asking him to do things beyond his physical abilities, which were well known before we signed him.

I would be glad to have him play his final year with us given he's taken Bajcetic, Darwin and Diaz under his wing. But he if he fancies a new chapter now, I wouldn't blame him.

Romano added today: Thiago is only focused on Liverpool, no advanced negotiations with any club as things stand.

I’d like to see him stay, one more year.
Everyone seems in agreement we need someone to play at the base of midfield, why not Thiago? Particularly in home games and against teams who are likely to sit deep.
Thoughts gentlemen?

I had a long chat with Thiago a few days ago (my kid's at the same school and his) . He seemed very focused on Liverpool, made up with the new signings, and was even really positive about the Europa League. Make of that what you will.

No doubt about Thiago’s ability, no doubt about his character but it’s obvious that across his career he has picked up a lot of injuries. To be honest, if selling him got us across the line financially in buying a DM (Lavia) with possibly a big career ahead of him, or a CB with the same potential (Ignacio, please with Schuurs as plan B) then I’d cash in on the money to be honest. That said, if he stays I wouldn’t be disappointed as I think he can still contribute when he’s fit.

I don’t understand how Thiago is mismanaged and we are asking him to do things beyond his physical capabilities but Keita is the worst donkey we’ve ever signed.

Both have come in on big money, both struggled, both were injury prone yet in Thiago’s case it’s our fault but in Keita’s case it’s all his own fault?

That’s a very strange take on things.

Maybe something to do with their completely different personalities and character?

The club dropped the ball on due diligence with respect to that player.

Where is he now? On what wages? Tells you all.

In hindsight, the worst recruitment decision since Balotelli.
