Old school-style news but good friend works high up in the ranks of Morgan Stanley and has officially confirmed that FSG has been touting around to them to help sell off the club. Didn't mention the valuation expected but I assume somewhere in the 3-4b range.
Club definitely prefers to directly sell off to an individual buyer rather than a consortium. He also did say there was strong interest in the club from India and surprisingly Thailand. Let's see how it pans out.

Standard Chartered are fuming that they didn't get the gig. My mate Stanley told me. He drives a Morgan.

"Morgan Stanley" always makes me think of the beginning of "Porridge".

There is NO interest from India. The Mukesh Ambani rumours are false. I would be more focused on how our relationship with RedBird might change.

My mate Morgan told me something different and he’s got a Stanley, so watch it.

I remember when I worked in our local steelworks years ago the big boss caught somebody sleeping on the job and sacked him. The guy's response was "you c**t, you're going to meet Uncle Stanley".
Later the big boss said to his number 2 "fancy they guy getting his old uncle to come and sort me out", his number 2 had to explain who "Uncle Stanley" was - and that the guy he'd just sacked had a reputation and track record of being very handy with "Uncle Stanley".
Big boss suddenly stopped pushbiking to work.

Well my mate Stan Morgan used to live in India and, when he did, had a red pet bird (parrot I think) .
Stan supports Liverpool and likes cricket too.
He hasn’t a clue who is interested or going to buy LFC but I thought it’s worth mentioning, no?

{Ed014's Note - how about no!
