I doubt it. Barcelona are looking at swapping him for Griezmann. Saul is said to prefer a move to Barcelona over anywhere else. I doubt very highly that we’ll ever see Niguez in a Liverpool shirt. I just hope we don’t make the mistake of signing Sanches. That would be throwing good money to bad like we did with Keita.

Why would Atletico swap Saul with Griezmann when Griezmann is earning more than Saul? Atletico want rid of Saul because of his wages and Barcelona can’t even register any new players right now.

By all accounts Griezmann is happy to take a significant pay cut to go back to Atletico. Not being able to register players hasn’t stopped them signing them.

Isn't Griezmann on 800k+ a week at Barca? Considering Atletico can't afford Saul's 300k a week salary, significant pay cut sounds like a bit of an understatement if Griezmann really did return to Atletico.

Barca is not an option for Saul, they have major financial problems and are not permitted to register Messi, Depay or aguero for next season until significant reduction of spend are made- although Im sure they would love to get Griezmann, coutinho, dembele etc off the wage bill its very unlikely anyone would pay the wages they are currently on (PSG aside) . For me most likely rivals for Saul comes from Manchester (both clubs) - this rumour will last all summer!

Griezmann is on around £350’000 a week, the £800’000 is not true. Either way, I just don’t see us even remotely being able to complete a deal for Saul. I just hope we don’t end up with a busted flush like Sanches.

VVVV - with Griezmann’s enormous wages (he is is a lot more than 350k a week, that’s for sure), poor performances throughout his tenure at Barca. Griezmann is stuck and so are Barca. Fantastic!

Most of what I have seen calls the rumours nonsense and says he’s more or less nailed on for a swap deal to Barcelona with Griezmann going the other way.
