I reckon our winter transfer window will be a CB in Scholtterbeck or someone similar coming in the door to play CB, Guehi stays till the summer and we get him then unless we offer silly money to Palace and he pushes the move Elliot comes back and rotates with Wirtz to give him a bit of rest, Semenyo comes in Salah stays till the end of the season.

I think someone or Ed001 mentioned that Slotterbeck may not be now as he is a clear VVD replacement and won’t want to be mainly on the bench for the rest of the season (or rotation) .

May be more likely to get 1-2 of the kids (Ordonez etc) possibly with Guehi.

Spot on in Semenyo, though, imo.

Schlotterbeck in at inverted LB for the rest of this season would replace what we have lost in Trent in terms of ball progression.

It would unlock Virgil in terms of his ball progression and take the pressure off of Konate to be the ball progressor from the back.

And if we signed Semenyo, both he and Salah would massively benefit from Schlotterbeck's ability to pass long.

Slot didn’t fancy playing Elliott before and he’s certainly not going to change that.

Best thing for Elliott’s career is to move to the Bundesliga or Ligue 1, he’d do well abroad as the pace and physicality isn’t as high.

The way they report it on TalkShipe is the Liverpool are an after thought when it comes to Semenyo city Man U and now Chelsea way ahead of us! The Eds on here seem to have been very confident he will come to us.
