So did Bournemouth.

Great overall performance! Albeit against a Bournemouth side struggling for form.

Just a quick note. I feel like Gini has been one of our - if not the most - consistent midfielders of this season. He took some time to convince me, but he really seems to have upped his game a lot since joining us.
One thing I've always been slacking him for is not to be brave enough on the final third, whether it be a key pass or taking a shot. Tonight he really proved that he's more than capable of doing these things! Showed real nerves of steal with his goal and made some great passes completely opening up their defense.

Just really wanted to show my appreciation for that and hopefully he'll only get better and better from here!

My points from yesterday match:
1. After last two games its refreshing to see a midfielder making those runs into the box. It causes havoc to their team and their shape. Gini is the man. Need to do more often than not.
2. Our front 3 tried to get to the end of the cross which we unable to see before. This is another good sign as eventually we will score goals with TAA came back we will have more crosses
3. Keita really growing stronger game by game. First half he made those simple passes didn't done anything wrong as the game goes on he got his confidence and started to show what Keita we signed for
4. Our front 3 starting to click at right time. This performance surely will give them huge boost
5. Atmosphere is electric. Hope more of the same.

Brilliant performance from the lads yesterday, just what the doctor ordered! I suppose the crisis is over now? 😉

Can’t fault any of the players performances, thought we were brilliant to a man. The defence and keeper were solid, another clean sheet!

The midfield were excellent, Fabinho has really grown in the past couple of months and to think the media were labelling him a flop and linking him with a move away a few months ago! I thought his passing range and break up play was excellent yesterday, he’s just so calm on the ball and so assured! Got to give a shout out to keita aswell, I was critical of him over the past couple of weeks but his performance yesterday showed just what he can do, he just needs to find consistency now and he’ll be a great player for us.

Gini was my man of the match yesterday, I must admit I didn’t really know what he brought to the team earlier in the season but you can see how much we miss him when he’s out, he was all over the place yesterday. He was breaking in behind the defence, throwing tackles in in midfield and he’s another one who is very assured on the ball and keeps the ball moving. As for his goal, he made it looks so simple, brilliant finish!

And last but not least, the front 3 were excellent. Some of the movement was world class and mane and salah got their customary goals. Even though firmino didn’t score, his assist for Salahs goal was as good as any goal in my eyes, absolutely world class!

I thought the performance really sent out a message to all the doomsdayers! We’re still here and we’re going to fight to the end! Let’s hope Chelsea do us a favour today!

Can I ask about salah doing Shaqiris celebration today. I know like mane has copied bobbys but it’s seems odd When he’s not on the pitch? Is he injured for a while or something?

Dont think so but what a team spirit we have! Mo and milly seem to have a bit of bromance too. I like salahs humility.

Fabhino - really cementing his place in the team.

Gini had a brilliant game too.

Well lads, cannot complain about the atmosphere today, we sang all game.

The only disappointing thing was we should have scored six.

Bobby and Salah combined magesticaly today, we played some fantastic football.

Agreed, good to see.
Be interesting to see if he starts v Munich and / or Man Utd.

How good was our midfield today? I've been well against changing back to last season's 4-3-3 when its been mooted but on that evidence, I won't argue against it again. Good to see Gini shooting again after his goal as well. He should've scored 5 minutes earlier when he squared it to Salah (badly), but after that he took a few shots on and got his goal. He's got great technique and he needs to back himself more often.

Great game that. Best game in a red shirt from Keita too. I would bet he completed more passes than anyone else on the pitch today. Ran the show and played the key pass for a couple of the goals. Great to see the lads get it back on track though after 3 poor perfornances. It was always going to be about how well we'd recover from our first wobble. Fingers crossed we get to be the first team to beat Ole!

Agreed, ginis our best cm, fab and nab getting better too.

Reckon there could be a fair few goals in that Utd game if they carry on as they are. Would suit us actually.
I think I’d rather play OGS’s team than Mourinho’s.

That midfield trio of Keita, Fabinho and Wijnaldum is the best we have. With Henderson, Milner and Shaqiri to come on later in games. Looked like a very smoothly oiled machine.

Was also happy to see Salah come back deep into midfield to get touches of the ball (Firmino and Mane have always done it) . Adds variety, unpredictability and creates open spaces for our game.
