Question for the Eds, could a loan for Origi be the best way forward for us and player.
Team wise I was looking at PL Teams needing a striker and thought Southampton would be a great option. nothing to do with VVD as that's just not an option.
{Ed001's Note - possibly. He is a bit stuck as Sturridge was expected to leave this summer due to lack of opportunities. Sturridge could have done with the blessing of the club, but he wants to stay and fight for his place. He wants to succeed not walk away as someone remembered for always being injured. So that has left Origi a bit in limbo, due to the form of Solanke. A loan is very possible and the club have been exploring the possibility.}

fair play to sturridge, needs abit of luck to stay injury free though.

Got a lot of respect for Sturridge, seems to have a massive hunger to prove himself and do well, I hope the lad can fulfil his (and our) ambitions. Think Origi's progress really stalled last year and he hasn't shown enough to be picked ahead of those competing with him - a loan could reinvigorate him, he certainly needs a regular run of games before we can know whether his long term future is with us or elsewhere.
