Don't get me wrong, I love Coutinho as a player and I hope he does well when he goes to Barcelona but I really don't understand why he is pushing to go in January. He will have no european football until next season because he's cup tied and has the possibility of missing out if we do very well this season in Europe.
If we win the Champions League he will feel a bit of an idiot. And yes this sounds a long shot but he has more of a chance winning it woth us than them this season.
Barcelona don't need him right now because they are doing well enough without him in their league. So Why are Barcelona and Coutinho so desperate? He may as well give his all for the rest of the season then go? Surely that makes more sense lol.

His been his dream to play there. If he goes now he will win a trophy this season probably the laliga.

CL win for LFC although possible is a lot less certain than Barcelona winning the league this year.

This plus he won't want Barcelona to move on to other options.

It seems he's still got this idea in his head that Barcelona won't come calling again when they clearly will, also the prospect of him getting injured which I can't understand because the best outcome is for us to agree a deal with Barcelona now for Coutinho to head their in the summer.

Barca might move on to other options in the summer (if they feel that Liverpool is too unwilling and difficult to deal with, Coutinho gets injured etc) .

That's probably why he wants to push through the deal and get it done asap.
