Hi All
First time posting.
Just wanted you all to spare a thought for Tom Jackson and his family.
If you aren't aware Tom was stabbed several times while trying to save a fellow backpacker in Australia. She passed away at the scene and Tom had been fighting for his life for the last week.
Sadly, Tom lost his fight this afternoon.
I don't know Tom or his Family but this man is a hero and I think everyone should know about him and his selfless act in putting himself in harm's way, hence I am posting.
Incidentally - Tom was a massive Liverpool fan.

I did know Tom, he's from my hometown. He was a top guy, and the way he lost his life tells you everything you need to know about him.
I'll make sure his family see the kind words you wrote.
