John Bradley (Liverpool tv commentator and in the know about Russian football) reckons were after Spartan Moscow midfielder Romulo. Is their any legs to this? Plus Ian Ayre getting a lot of stick but do the owners trust Rodgers judgement on transfers. Aspas, Cissoko, Moses Luis Alberto, illori, Borini, samed yesil, Nuri Sachin and Osama Assaeidi. Total spent £35 million plus wages. Let's be honest they would all make the worst LFC XI.

All these "Im embarrassed" comments being posted makes me cringe. Im embarrassed for you clowns who believe the rubbish posted on twitter and other social media platforms. No one knows why the club have stepped away. The club have pulled off some great transfers over the last several windows. I didn't see you complaining when we bent Roma over for Salah. Its BUSINESS. Trust in the Club.

OP, if such people are embarrassed about a football club protecting itself from potential long term liability due to signing a player with dodgy knees (reports via French media) then, it says a lot more about them than it says about the club. They can be embarrassed till they are blue (or red) in the face. It does not change the fact that transfers are always a risk and that is the reality and NO club runs it's business based on what type of blowback they will get from fans
on Twitter who know next to nothing about how these things work, if things don't work out.
