Not surprised by the disjoimnted nature of Liverpool's performance. This is simply about getting match time into the fringe players legs. However, Elliott and Carvalho need someone running in behind to get the best otu of them. No one appears to be doing that, right now.

tbf ArAy1969, most of the damage has been caused by the left side. Chambers has been awful. And, he is trying to mske up for it, and further compounding the situation. Konate has been alright, Gomez affected greatly by Chambers.

For me Elliott can only operate at optimum when he has players of pace running in behind the defensive line. He is a tricky player who can play an incisive pass. This match, line up does not play to his strengths at all. And he is struggling as a result.
