Contrary to some opinions on here, I really am looking forward to Endo joining the squad. We 100% need experience of a player used to playing in a variety of roles/ formations. Endo will, in my theory atleast, take less time to bed in than someone younger that hasn't as much experience (despite our need to reduce the average age of our squad) . I would think he will start aftwr a few games to free up Mac, and secure the high press.
Really happy for the guy, seems a positive addition. Best of luck to the lad.

In fairness I think some supporters we underwhelmed by Endo as the target over him personally.
I’m sure he will het 100% backing from the Anfield crowd on match day but the wonderful worldwide wed is a different story.
LFC fans tend to get behind the players and Jota has already been volunteered as the online whipping boy.

I'm sure he will too and become the next underdog like Divs. Love the positivity JK. Not sure about Jota myself, he seems best played as a solo act and I'm not sure that suits our play. That's me being objectively critical mind. I do think he's saved our bacon enough times to warrant his place in the squad.

Personally I like Jota and Nunez but for me Gakpo would start ahead of both.
Jota has plenty of faults passing, hold up play etc but Nunez also offers those same issues.
Both are goal scorers though and both always work extremely hard (even though posters say Jota goes missing and stinks up the place)
I’ll happily put money on Gakpo, Nunez and Jota though all getting more than 22 goals and assists each this season.
Yesterday we were told we should believe the German football experts over posters in regards to Endo.
Well I’m happy to trust our German football expert Klopp in whoever he picks to start games.

Speaks English pretty well as well so that should help with integration and tactics (not to mention German with klopp) .

JK, if we get even 10 goals each from those 4 (Jota, Gakpo, Nunez and Diaz), another 25-30 from Salah, and another 10-15 from midfield (Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, TAA) we'd be flying and serious contenders by the end of the season. My wishful, hopeful, thinking. ?.

very happy with this signing, hopefully its not the last.
is it just me cause i can feel that klopp was genuine in saying that he really wanted to sign endo but lfc typically do not sign a 30 yo.

And given the slating he and the club have received after the signing, expectations are very very low. Again, the only way is up. ?.

He’s pretty much got to hit the ground running, turns 31 this season so zero bedding in time.
You’d probably say he’s slightly past what you’d call those peak years of 28/ 29, but his dream move to the prem should kick him onto another level
90% of our problems come from that area so if there’s no other additions he’s arguably our most important player, all he has to do to be Considered a success is Help get us back into the Champions League. And I think he can do that!

Needed to be signed by 1200 I think I read so should be ok. Looks like a good signing but only if there’s another first team quality CM and CD coming in. He’s 5ft 8in so not sure he effectively covers CD position in the premier league.
