OP, not having a go BUT how many times have you seen Nunez play? I have only seen him play twice against us hence, not enuff for me to judge him on. Can you describe his qualities and how you think he’s good enuff for us?

Boy can finish, is young enough to adapt and evolve. Good on the ball and has some flair, not for me to say he's what we need or want.

Saw him play two champions league games against Barcelona and Ajax (as well as the games against us) and he looked a good player, power, pace and skill, exactly what you want in a modern centre forward, the common theme was that he was a nuisance in all of them.

Make no mistake he’s going to be a top player. If at 22 he’s not a young, up and coming star then I don’t know who is. Looking at all names being bandied about, he’s the one we should be going for. None of this Kane/ Lewandowski/ Dembele nonsense.

Lads come on with the Kane stuff. He is simply not happening. 2 years left. He ll cost an absolute fortune and we are not exactly in the good books with spurs who got champions league and are trying to push on. Him and Son are complete non runners for us.

VVVV is saying he would be. I don't know what Kane would cost- the same as I don't know what Nunez would cost- but he's a better player than Nunez.
Kane is 28 and would score 20 League goals a season for us for a few seasons at least.
Nunez might and for a longer period but he wouldn't cost much less than Kane, would he?
I'm not saying we should pay £150m for Kane, I'm saying he's better than Nunez.

I'm saying Kane is a very good player and I've seen very little of Nunez. I can't see us signing either of them but a Kane type player- there are not many of them around- would certainly do a job for us.

Lewa > Kane > Nunez. Age is merely a number. I doubt Nunez will ever be as good as Lewa mid 30s or otherwise. Lewandowski has been the best 9 in the world for the last few years even when Messi and Ronaldo were at their peak. Nunez is a very good player but he won't be in the top 3 players in the world imo.
