If we get diaz and carvalho for 50 million this window hats off too julian ward, the both of them evolve our attack and add much needed energy to the squad and fans . Diaz alone is doing a fine job of creating a buzz but the 2 would be a splurge of brilliance.

Isn't Ndombele the guy who's been dropped by every manager he's had at Spurs cos he rarely puts a proper shift in on the pitch?

We have Keita doing that already. And to be fair to Keita, there aren't stories of him turning up so late to training that he has to park in the Chief Executive's reserved space like there are with Ndombele.

I can't see Fulham accepting 5m GBP during a promotion push for 2 main reasons
1) promotion is worth 20-30 times more to them than this fee
2) if we signed him once his contract expires (end of the season) the tribunal fee will be far more than 5m GBP

This only makes sense if he is thinking about going abroad where Fulham will receive 250k GBP from a club like Dortmund.

Ndombele seems to be an enigma, has done very little in a Spurs shirt and has lost his place in the side under every manager yet a lot of people still speak highly of him, It’s taken a lot of Spurs fans until recently to give up on him.
For me he’s been worse than Keita and I wouldn’t be keen on him.

We’ve had Diaz in our sights for months. We all knew and expected he would sign for us in the summer so it’s Levy who has tried to pull a fast one and step on our toes!

Spot on, Ed666. I love Ndombele cos his talent and ability is out of this world and I wish we could sign him too. For those who don’t know, Ndombele has only been playing footie at the highest level for 3 or so years now cos Lyon signed him from the 3rd or 4th division in 2018.

He was so good that he became a full starter for them after just a few months and City couldn’t get near him on that CL game where he, Aouar and Cornet bossed City off their own pitch at the Etihad. Why am I saying this? Ndombele is very raw and inexperienced which make him an absolute nightmare for impatient dictator managers like Jose or Conte. The kid needs actual nurturing, advice and coaching cos his talent is outright insane, IMO.

If I remember correctly Spurs did exactly what we have just done to us with Willian, and then immediately had it done to them by Chelsea. It must be pretty normal. I doubt Spurs we’re not aware we were watching him and they wanted to try and get in there early. A sound strategy to be fair and he likely would have gone had we not been able to get funds or committed in the moment. Luckily we could and he preferred us. I’d rather a player not come to LFC if ultimately he would prefer to be elsewhere so not sure what Levy’s issue is.

You got to remember Brommers, it ain't just English clubs in for him. Dortmund and Porto have apparently been sniffing around, and a move abroad as far as I'm aware would result in no Tribunal at all.

Not sure how often you see him play then. I’ve seen him lose his marker constantly, probably every game I’ve seen of him.

Best mates a spurs fan and says he has all the talent in the world. But also says he’s the laziest player he’s ever seen in a spurs shirt. Constantly goes missing and bottles challenges.

There’s a reason why every manager hasn’t trusted him there.

Point is, he’s been here a few seasons now and shown he’s struggled time and again. It’s rare that so many managers distrust a player without any validity.
