Excellent finish to the season. Happy for Origi and Mane grabbing goals. Thought Milner did pretty after being out for a while. I haven’t worked out whether Ox is just not good enough or is trying too hard!

Anyways, silly season is here. Looking forward to seeing how the club does business this window. Would like to see LB, CB, AM and a wide forward come in. Might be too difficult to do in this climate though.

Bring on the 20/ 21 season I say.

Ox is a midfielder imo and doesn't seem to suit being across the front three.

Re Ox- No matter which position he plays, more often than not he’s on the periphery despite appearing to work hard. I don’t want to criticise but it doesn’t seem to come off for him.

He was flying before he got injured that time, locked Gini out of the team (unthinkable now) for a while. There'd be no debate about getting a more creative midfielder in if he was still in that form, cos we'd already have him. £40m was looking like absolute highway robbery. And then injury intervened.

Didn't see the game toady, but I think he's been a bit better since restart. I know it's effectively two seasons written off for him, but *hopefully* we'll see 2018 Ox back next season.

Can't write the ox off! That would be crazy. Is it slate our team week? Aoc and origi don't start every game but when they play they make a contribution. The Ox especially is a brilliant player and a good klopp type player. I think he'll be the bomb next season. Him and salah work really well down the right. Hendo sedms to play there more often these days. I think he's fantastic. Again, if the winger puts the ball in for a headed goal, job done. We'll, not entirely but.

Ox himself says he see his best position as CM and in that #8 / #10 position. probably why playing on the wing hasn't really worked out for him if he isn't mentally clued up for it.

Ox is decent on the wing at best and I think Klopp actually understands that it his not his best position cos when he signed Ox, Klopp specifically said that he was signed to play in CM, which he did fantastically well at (esp. after we just lost Cou) till that devastating knee injury in the CL vs Roma.

Hence, I think Klopp uses Ox there to do a job esp. whet either Salah or Mane are out job esp. if he thinks the FB on his side needs a bit more protection depending on the opponent. Either way, he seems to struggle there quite a bit so hopefully, Klopp can find a happy medium between those two positions for Oc. Or get someone else in to play out wide instead of Ox.
