I think playing away to West Ham will actually do us some good.
You could feel the anxiety in the ground last night, you won't get that away from home.
+ as the home side West Ham will need to attack more than Leicester did which will leave us space to play in.

Leicester are a counter attacking team. Last night due to sickness/ injuries we played with no DM and a very attack minded front 6. It left us open for Leicester to counter which added to the nerves and didn't give us game control.
At 1-0 up in the first half the game was end to end when it didn't need to be. Hendo or fab in the middle would of slowed the pace down and kept us sensibly in control. We would of seen the half out for the final minute instead of getting caught on the counter and giving a way a stupid foul which lead to a goal.

Milner and Fabinho will be back for the West Ham game so I expect Hendo and fab in the middle so we control things

Just my thoughts.

Good read carra, I actually disagree though.

Arnautovic now has something to prove
West Ham always raise their game against the big teams
We are not playing with any fluency or confidence at the minute.
This feels like a potential banana skin to me 😕.

100% - it is not an easy game.

West Ham away is always a tricky game I just think you will get a more natural performance from our boys unlike the anxious rushed performance we saw last night.

Upton Park used to be a hard place to go. 30.000 mental psychos right next to the pitch. The London stadium has made it an easier fixture.

As for arnautovic, vvd is designed to deal with his type. I'm not worried. Actually think they could be in for a thumping. We e haven't had a 5 0 for a while.

Ron I believe Arnautovic is injured. Regardless I fully expect us to beat them.

I know it's often said but there will be no easy games in the run in. Like Leicester last night they are a good side. Crystal palace at the start of the season I thought these are a decent side and at Anfield they proved they are no mugs. Teams aren't going to roll over and give us the points, we need to fight for every one. We won't win every game and I doubt city will go unbeaten, lots of twists and turns to come. Don't know if my finger nails can handle it. Come on red men.

Ron, Not fussed with Arnautovic cos he is inconsistent and seems to pick the games he wants to actually play and do well in. WH have been receiving thumpings of late and Pello does not park the bus cos well, he is simply NOT good at it and if he does then we will have to deal with it. We are not playing with fluency cos we have our midfielders playing at CB and RB cos half the defence is injured. Not being fluent is normal under such circumstances, mind you YET we are able to rise above these issues and pick up points which at this stage, is the MOST important thing. In fact, I see that as a quality cos the ability to rise above such issues shows the mental make up of this team, something City simply are unable to do at this time even tho they have NO injuries.

{Ed025's Note - you need to stop having a pop at city redwolf and concentrate on liverpool my old mate..

Ed25, what's your beef? I spoke the truth to power about City. The truth should never be an insult, man. Believe that! Cheers, mate.

{Ed025's Note - i just think your better than having cheap shots at citys expense redwolf, liverpool are doing very nicely and that should be the priority of all the posters imo rather than worry about how other teams are doing..thats all im saying my friend..

I agree Carra. As soon as Fab came on I thought we had control of the game, up to that point we were vulnerable. He should start every game when fit. I also think it is no coincidence that we look shakier at the back since Matip has been playing he does everything so slowly. TAA Gomez and as well as Milner back shortly will strenghten us. Also for me Shaqiri and keita should not start together it is one or the other. IMO it is a waste of time bringing on Sturridge I would much rather Origi for the last ten minutes.
