As soon as i woke up this morning my first thought was last night's game then my second thought was Brighton away, forget about last night it's on to the next one. Not too worried about the fa cup, I would rest players.

No trophy is guaranteed, not really caring about the FA Cup makes no sense to me - what if we don't win the league and don't win the CL? Another trophyless season? Would rather we took the competition seriously and tried winning it personally.

Right Seano. If you aspire to be the best, you've always got to go out and give it your best, whatever is facing you. Do your rotation by all means, if you want to, but make sure it's taken seriously and go out to win.

I would rest VVD robbo and all the front 3 at least v Wolves. Our aim IMO should be 3 wins v Brighton Palace and Leicester. That would guarantee us a 4pt lead at least at the end of Jan in the league. We may still beat Wolves but I would not be diasappointed if we didnt. City have the carabao semis 2 legs (albeit v Burton) and the Final. I would also hope they go deep into FA cup and CL and that would distract/ tire City in the title run in. I really feel we should put all our eggs in one basket, we are in a great position it is not worth risking injury/ fatigue by putting out our best 11 in FA Cup.

We have lots of experience and depth upfront and in midfield so I’d happily rotate there and start with Mané, Sturridge and Shaq. Midfield of Keita, Hendo, Lallana should be plenty competitive. The trickier piece is in defence (where we probably need to rotate the most but have the least cover) . I’d go Moreno, Lovren, Philips and Fabinho. It’s a risk but we need to give our FBs and VVD a rest.

Wolves are a fantastic team who will probably see the FA Cup as their big chance of a trophy. It is not inconceivable that wolves win the FA Cup. I think if we rest big players we could get beat. Is the game away? If so we can't rest players. If its at home maybe rest one or two. League is the fans priority but the players probably see the European Cup as the priority.

It's the FA Cup. Biggest knockout competition. We need to take it seriously. This is why we have big squads.
