Looks like the European Super League has been kicked into the long grass for the time being too?
Thank goodness.

Morning Ed, thank you mate, hope you have a great day!

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate you too.}

Once they officially start denying it, you can bet they are secretly negotiating it.

Did Schmeichel have a new deal on the table a couple of months ago?

A cynic may wonder if running towards the helicopter wreckage, crying during every public appearance and demanding that he be allowed to attend the funeral may have helped his cause with the new owner.

I’m NOT saying it’s why he did it of course as that’s absurd but Thai people are historically very sentimental and loyal and acts like that would not go unnoticed and even unrewarded.

BeckersGloves, I too am a cynic but I think you have gone a bit far there mate. Why not just accept that the lad was genuinely fond of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha?

I share your suspicions Ron.
It would be interesting to have ED02 give us an update when ever they have their next meetings in Monaco or whereever they will next hold them.
ED02 knowledge on all this break away league has been more accurate than all the media outlets put together.

{Ed002's Note - The clubs can discuss whatever they wish. A number are meeting in Milan next week on 27/28 but that is very much being driven by another matter, and then there is already scheduled a further meeting in Geneva on January 15/16.}

It’s the classic 3 card trick taking the fans as mugs.

1) Leak to a sensationalist publication
2) Deny everything - feign integrity
3) Do it anyway in secret

🤬.

{Ed002's Note - Clearly I am wastig my time explaining. Probably best not to bother.}

Cheers for that ed. Question though, is it not a bad thing Borbely has stepped down, was he not responsible for some of the investigations into corruption? Or was he just a yes man? I’ve read up about him but not sure at all which it is.

{Ed001's Note - he had to step down so they could appoint someone who could be involved into an investigation into his former employers. For starters he might well end up implicated.}

Hi ed002, my comments are not aimed at you, well not to my knowledge, unless you’re intimately involved in planning the breakaway.

My comments refer to those instigating the breakaway.
I am always grateful for your insight.

I still have my own opinion even if it is absurdly uninformed by comparison. 🤝.

{Ed002's Note - You are saying things that simply are not true. Feel free to ignore everything I have been telling you, but don't just simply make stuff up. You would clearly do best just to work off the snippets of information that have been stolen and published by Der Spiegel.}
