I would say I am more than happy with our points haul so far this season and absolutely chuffed with how good VVD and Gomez look as a pair. My only concern is that we just aren't yet firing and whilst it is perfectly ok at the moment there's a paranoia setting in about it not clicking. Those are the scars our fanbase bear after many false dawns. Looking at it in the cold light of day there's absolutely no way a midfield with Fabinho, Keita, Gini, Henderson, Milner and an attack with Mane, Salah, Firmino, Studge and Shaqiri will not fire! We are of course missing that no10 and I have no doubt we'll be looking at that in the next windows but for now we have enough to beat most teams in the PL with what we have. Keep believing guys.

Harry, I do agree with you to a certain extent, but Klopp and the medical team obviously think it is not possible to sustain that style of play throughout the season.
They are playing a more pragmatic system, but this team definitely needs a creative player to help out the front 3, they cannot keep doing it on their own. I would like to see Shaqiri play more often.

Spot on, OP. Happy with where we are which is 11 points better than where we were last season at the same stage. We need to do better in midfield esp. BUT also in attack cos we create enuff chances to outright win games but are not taking enuff of them. Keita is a huge miss and hopefully, he can get up to speed in a timely manner. As for Jan, I would not hold my breathe on anyone coming in IMO, cos a) I don't know of any team that would sell you their no. 10 and b) Klopp may not bother esp. if he cannot find anyone suitable to what he wants. On to Fulham.

its just the midfield, last season we had the ox or continho in midfield, lallana should have least got a start yesterday, even shaquiri, half our midfield missing and they still didn't play. We were too afraid to play attacking. that's the story of this season. klopp has played a boring midfield more often than not. Shaquiri has been great and deserved to start. fabinho was not needed for that game at all.
