Hi ed. Apologies if this has been asked already, but what are the plans for brewster? Will he go on loan or get a chance with the first team?

{Ed002's Note - Klopp has previously said he will be part of the first team set up but it is hard to see how he will get games with the first team.}

haha, yeah Klopp gave him assurances that he'd get a fair chance to compete with Ward for first choice goalkeeper. Somebody saw a photo of Karius in the #1 jersey at Melwood, but it turned out to be Brewster.

(Seriously though, let the kid get fit first, then he should be given the same chances as Solanke or Origi or whoever hasn't left, and I'd bet on Brewster to score more goals than any of the other backup options. )

I suppose it will somewhat depend on who leaves in terms of forwards. In terms of actual strikers we have; Firmino, Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Solanke and Brewster. I would like to see Brewster given opportunities but that'll mean other forwards would need to move on.

Two other things to note. Fekir is capable of playing a similar role to Firmino in our team so could rotate with Firmino if he were to arrive. Secondly, Brewster is out until around Christmas I believe? So will miss a large chunk of the season anyway and will miss any opportunities he could have had in the league cup.

Conclusion, I don't think we'll see much of Brewster this season due to fitness and personnel constraints (the latter could well change before the end of the window though) .

With the amount of forwards we have, I'm guessing unless a few move, brewster will be loaned out. Pity really I'd like to see more youngsters getting a chance, certainly didn't do taa any harm.

Brewster is still recovering from a long term injury with him not expected to return until around Christmas.
I expect he will spend the rest of the season training with the first team, maybe a few cameos off the bench towards the end of the season before a decision is made next summer on whether he should go on loan or is ready for the first team.
