Harry Wilson scored and set up another for Hull at the weekend! Have to say he's doing everything right to put himself in line for a squad place next season.

He is but he isn't ready for this level yet, call me negative but he isn't, he's playing for Hull and doing great things there in a really physical league, he is proving to be absolutely quality but let's face it, it's Hull, a terrible team this season, it's not hard to stand out there. I think the lad is the real deal I really do so don't take me the wrong way but would he get into our team? not right now, he needs one more season on loan at a promoted team in the PL before coming and getting into our starting 11 or even coming to the bench.

not often I disagree with you Salah at all lol but if you can perform
in the championship then it means a lot as a youngster it is where beckham and kane deli ali all cut their teeth in the lower leagues
question for you right now would you rather have solanke or harry wilson next season on our subs bench?

I disagree, playing in a team at the bottom half meacyou have to do the hard graft and learn the savy side of football,

It’s all well and good playing in a liquid football team but to learn how to fight how to grind out a result is invaluable, .

I don’t know if he is good enough but he’s certainly earning the right to a proper chance In preseason.

Johncrow you make an excellent point there mate and my answer would be Wilson lol good question there mate, you stumped me haha!

I just personally believe he would need another season on loan elsewhere but at PL level just to get him ready for the top level. Maybe it's me been paranoid but I'd hate for him to come back next season and not perform as much as he did at Hull, it takes time but many fans would slam him for it, we've seen it recently with TAA until the City game last week and with Gomez, the mistakes he was making people was slamming him and it kind of annoyed me because he's still young, mistakes happen, he/ they're still learning at such a young age and been in such a league at top level, it's not easy but as you say the Championship is also as difficult, it's probably the most physical league in the world and he's thriving so I can't disagree with what your saying at all.

I genuinely do believe Wilson will be a big player, I haven't been this excited about such a player since Suso so I really do want things to work out for him. Should he come back and not go out on loan I can only hope he will thrive given his chance, the lad has plenty of potential to be absolutely quality.

I disagree too. he's showing he can do it. He will be much better when he plays with better players. Im optomistic about him. If he stays grounded and keeps willingness to learn he could be a very important player for us in the future.

Klopp recognises that and made sure he signed a contract before he went out on loan.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp doesn't deal with the contracts.}

Deffo agree Salah the kid looks like he finally will break through next season and knuckle down like Gomez and trent have
With Woodburn there as well our bench looks full of very good youth going foward.
Solanke needs to go out next season into a team that will help him grow in the lower league.

Talksport did an article today on average age of match day squads this season in the league and we actually came out as 1st for the youngest average squad. 25 and a half I think it was we avaerage.

Woodburn probably needs a loan now.

I agree and maybe if he hadn't of had that injury, we'd have seen him sooner, but the loan was right for him, more chance to play stronger football, rather than U23s.

A tricky winger much like Ryan Kent, has pace and decent technical ability on the ball. Could play on either side of the front three. What is more important to us than Solanke, Ings and Sturridge. Should have kept him and used him when one of our front three are injured.

If he's going to be good enough, there's no need to rush him. It's not as if our attack is in dire need at the moment and it could hinder his development if were to have to play second, third, fourth fiddle. Give him more loan time and first team experience.

If we'd of kept him Harry he'd of barely got game time and at his age he wants/ deserves game time, sending him out on loan was the best thing for him. If we hadn't of I'd of expected him to be looking for a permanent move elsewhere, who wouldn't at that age.

Going to Hull with the performances he's been putting in, he's opened peoples eyes and shown what he's capable of, whether he comes into the team next season or the one after it's clear for all to see, this loan move was the best thing for him.
