Salah to me is the best prospect Liverpool have after Suarez.

He is as good as greizman or Ronaldo in getting to scoring positions.

If only his finishing can be improved, I see him scoring every game.

If you watch the whole games played this season, he missed lot of easy ones. But important point is he find himself infront of rebounds and all.

Also it would be better for firmino to play no 10 role. or false 9, am more than happy to find mane as no 9.

Firmino usually drop a bit to get the ball and and has good understanding trickery compared to Gini I also don't fancy him in wings either.

And your point is to buy a striker! Napoli plays similar to us in all department! Mertens lead their line and he is no natural striker either! They score in abundance and miss in abundance!

As good as our scoring record is our miss record is greater. We've had 121 shots in our last 6 games and scored 7 of them. Hopefully this is our rough patch that we adheaerd last jan and Klopp finds the solution. Otherwise we could be competing for top 7 and out of the CL come this jan.

No. Harry play mane as no9 as he has played there before. Firminos play style is apt for cam and due to lack of pace, he don't fit in wings either.

I think we need to stop comparing ourselves to other teams as well as an excuse. In last few weeks I've seen us compared to Real for their poor start, our defence compared to Spurs because they conceded 2 in 1 game, our centre backs compared to City's when they're criticised (they've conceded 2 to our 11) and now our attack to Napoli's. Harry I love reading your posts mate but I've got to disagree with you on this one. Other teams strengths and weakness's have no bearing on LFC. If anything we are our own worst enemy.

Ed 01 I agree there mate but 7 in 6 games after 121 shots is poor. I'm not slating the front 4 (including Coutinho here) as I think they're all quality players but we do seem to be in a little slump in front of goal at the moment. For me though this will come good sooner rather than later. Unlike some of our other issues.

The point is you simply cannot play Firmino anywhere else other than where he is now! And he is too good to be dropped! Without him there exist no pressing from front! Our team is built around Him, Coutinho and Pressing.

Agree w/ Harry, here. Napoli play the exact way we do (they are like us, electrifying to watch) and Firmino is perfect for our system. If you play him at CM, it will be like playing him out wide where he is completely useless. Firmino is great for our system as NO striker can do all the work he does. We also score goals and create chances for fun and at warp speed so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. We need to take our chances and shore things up at the back which overall, our defence played well as a unit last night, if I may add.

I noticed the thumbs down on rons post. Mane is better than salah. They are both great but for me mane edges it, quite easily really.

Put it this way, if you had to pick one of them go take a penalty to save your life, which one would you pick? Mane obvs, he is one of ghd few blinical finishers we have st the club. Coutinio Can and mane are the most clinical. Great to have Sadio back.

The thing is that we are making the chances. The problem would be if we weren't. Let's remember 'swings and roundabouts'. At the moment some teams are scoring with every practically shot at goal. There will be matches when they don't score. Although we don't use one full-out striker the 'Fab Four' are all capable of scoring in the same match and we will see this sooner than later. KTF.

Spot on, Ben. We are suffering from that per the opposition where we miss a chance ior two BUT when the oppo. gets their first chance, they score and we are behind the eight ball. This happens in patches BUT not permanent, just as our frustrating profligacy in front of goal will not last. We just have to keep working hard in trying to get better in both boxes.

All teams have periods where they struggle to take their chances. This is when a good defence is vital as while your creating chances and not conceding you can always nick a 1-0 win. Something we can't do at the moment.
