So I suppose the £113million pound question is, now the 'deadline' has gone does that mean Couts is definitely staying?

The deadline rumour comes from Balague, doesn't it? He's not the worst journo out there by any manner of means, but he's not exactly 100% reliable either and hasn't been for some time.

It comes down to how money they're willing to spend on him. If they're willing to spend more than they've already offered so far, they'll come back with another offer.

It's actually more like a 130-140 Million pound question. So hold on and have some patience. If you catch my drift.

No. It's all brinksmanship. I expect that there will be more offers before the window is out.

{Ed002's Note - Brinkmanship is moving to Newcastle. Move on.}

if true I have to say Barca's transfer tactics are worse than ours. We rejected the offer within an hour that should give them some clue that giving us a deadline won't make any difference. If you're going to make threats do it from a position of strength otherwise you come across weak and desperate. I hope we stick to our guns it's not even about Coutinho anymore we just can't give in to these idiots.
