Fellow reds, where do you see our on field leadership coming from? I'd particularly like to hear the views of fans who actually attend the games. It appeared the Klavan was quite vocal and urged the players on toward the end of the Arsenal game, but who do you see and hear during the game, at the ground?

At the back, Lovren is very aggressive and tries to be assertive. He was pretty vocal when I saw the pre-season game against Chelsea.

Back in the day we had a leader at the back and a midfield general. I'm thinking Souness and McMahon, I don't see that player now.

i think klopp is trying to instill more of a collective responsibility throughout the team as apose to relying on one leader to drive performance and effort.

he's buying players that share the bravery/ leadership quality.

@davey bootle - why? Henderson lead by example against Arsenal - he got up and down countless times, was strong in the challenge, positionally sound and played excellently. His attitude is excellent as is his work rate - captains don't always have to bellow at players, they can sometimes set the tone through their performance.
