Hi,
Is anyone going to the Barcelona game? If so, do you know if there are any supporters groups heading to certain pubs in London? From past memory it's not amazing around that area and we ended up congregating at a pub in Euston for the Carling cup final. I'm taking my bro for his birthday, so would be good to find somewhere with lots of singing etc.

Wembley is a hole Kate, after the game head towards Covent Garden or somewhere like that afterwards as there's plenty of nice places to eat and drink round there, at reasonable prices.

Thanks for the replys. Just looking for somewhere decent. Every time I've been to Wembley it hasn't been great. Saying that tho, you know what us reds fans are like, there will probably be mini street parties all over the shop!

Ps, Frankly, I know London very well, just wondering where people are going. Thanks for the tip tho. 😀.

{Ed002's Note - "Yankie land"? You have to be one truly pig ignorant MF.}

Ed002, as someone with such good connection to the USA, how is the game taking off over there? Is it competing well with the traditional American sports?

{Ed002's Note - I haven't lived in the USA for 35 years or so so the game has changed a lot since then. It is certainly popular across the board with men, women and kids - and it is popular as a spectator sport. The big difference is popularity has tailed off in the past and this time it is unabated.}

I'm there, but with my 7yr old so not drinking before hand.
We live in the south so he's never seen Liverpool live, I've never known him so excited he's asking every day how long left to wait.

Cheers ed! I have a couple of American friends in LA and they're obsessed with all things football. Even to the point they don't call it soccer!

{Ed002's Note - If they live in Los Angeles they will be complete flakes - stay well clear of them. I spent the lost summer of 1974 living in the Hollywood Hills with my girlfriend of the time (and a whole bunch of others - Father Yod et al) and I stay clear of LA unless I really must go.}

Bills Hicks once described it as "Hell-A" do you also believe it should make way for Arizona Bay, ed002?

{Ed002's Note - THat would help.}
