I don't think Emre played football at all, he wasn't there to take passes at all, most often then not was hiding behind defenders.

Germany were asking to get beaten, playing players out of position, not having a recognised centre forward as we'll as playing a clearly past it Schweinsteiger.

That ref was awful to be fair and I don't just mean for the penalty. He was clearly biased towards France, every 50/ 50 went there way. I didn't care who won the game but the French got there with a big hand from the ref. As an aside the quality in the match was truly awful - this has been an example of just how poor international football is. Been the first game I stayed awake till 3am to watch and may be the last.
