Right folks, finally taken the plunge and cancelled the Sky sports subscription. Don't watch enough footie to justify it.

However when I do fancy a match, any advice in the best free streaming sites?

Get an Adndroid box. You'll never look back, has everything you need. About £60 I think in your money, i live in Dublin so it's €100 for one. Just plug it into your hdmi port, hook up to wifi and bingo!

Once you have your android box you should sign up to offside streams. Its basically your full sky package in HD plus all your 3 o'clock games and pay per view events. It's £10 a month.

I got a amazon fire stick chipped/fully loaded but find when streaming the footie it always lags and freezes. Is it the same with the Android box?

I like bt sport now, do all the European games, early Saturday's and there's always a European league game on if you're bored.

Android box is good. Do go for it. Alternatively you can shift to any country in south asia. prices here are crazy cheap. For bout 2-3 pounds you can see all the major leagues their respective cup competitons. The European stuff the international stuff the mls and i'm just talking about football here.

Android mate box. You get everything, use sports devil or UK-Turks on navix. Also hammys on nevix is good. Best £40 I ever spent.

thanks ed007 read through it all. however if i have an android phone can i also watch the games on it through something like mobdro? . I already have showbox on my phone and it is amazing.

{Ed001's Note - yes, you don't need the box at all. You could even get (depending on model) mini-HDMI to HDMI cable and plug the phone into the TV and watch it on the big screen that way.}

ed01 this just blew my mind. i'm telling me mam to cancel everything lol. murdoch can suck it lol. I already head showbox on my phone and i thought it could not get any better i just downloaded mobdro and i'm watching formula 1 live from my grans. haha.
