I personally see him on the bench at best. don't rule out an exit if someone comes in with a decent offer.

I think he will be in the mix with Couts, Firmino, Markovic and Ibe to play off 1-2 strikers up front.

I've been thinking about it since Ed002 said there may be an unexpected leaver (although he/she has since said its unlikely to happen) that it could very well be Lallana who's heading out, unfortunately. I really do rate him and injuries took their toll in his first season. But with so many others who can play in the positions he is likely to take up (AM or winger), it kinda makes sense.

My tip would be Spurs.

Don't see the reason for him to stay. We have Coutinho, Firmino, Markovic, Ibe, Teixeira, Ojo, Wilson, Kent etc.

Lallana is 27 years old on big wages. It's counterproductive for both club and player to have him sat on the bench.

I hope you're wrong BigD. That midfield will not only get cut to pieces, but is also shackling Milner and Henderson from making attacking runs. Lucas or Allen need to play. Balance is more important than getting all our expensive players on the pitch.

I can see Lallana having a good season, he might suprise a few people on here.
Injury free and a coaching system that knows what it's doing (almost) will bring the most out of him.

That's how I see our midfield/attack lining up. It's the best use of the personnel we have. Sturridge to be impact sub, he can't be relied upon to lead the front line when he's hardly there.

Despite what people think if you check his goal scoring record you'll see that the majority of them (50%) are scored with feet and with more than one touch taken prior to shot.
