So just a thought and something I haven't seen discussed, what should we do with Sturridge? Keep him and hope that this season was a one off or try and cash in on him? Would anyone take him with his injury record? Also is there any blame to be held with the Liverpool fitness staff or is it a case that his injuries are for the most part unavoidable?

Depends who is available and willing to come in. If the right person is and the sale price isn't silly then sell him. If not hang on to him and until someone better comes along.

Why should there be any question of moving him on? When fit, he has shown he is top striker and the solution is to get another striker who can work individually and also play with Sturridge.

Martin Kelly is doing pretty well keeping himself fit at Palace. Played loads of games for them this season whereas at LFC he was a walking injury. Lallana has been a sick note?

Surely there has to be an issue with the fitness staff, training sessions etc?

We'll the doctor got sacked, it would be stupid to sell the only striker at the club who can score goals.

Valid points, max! To me, it is a bit of both. Some players have soft muscles and contantly suffer from that. What needs to be done is to calibrate their preparation, training regimen and games in order to get the best out of them. Studge is a very good player but as a club, we can`t rely on him to stay fit hence, a top striker is needed, ASAP. The fact that BR was given money to strengthen the attack YET wound up using Sterling as a striker shows how inept and incompetent he is in the TW and if any money should be given to an LFC manager next term, it should be to a new one.

He has always been a treatment room hanger, get rid. if he was that good offers would of been made for him with other clubs knowing we would think about it, and probably sell!

I doubt anyone would pay anywhere near what he's worth after this season. We should keep, buy in a top striker who can play as 1 or 2 upfront (Martinez?) and give him another chance.

The frustrating thing is LFC were managing him well. Then he went off to International games and they went against the advice of LFC who work with him on a daily basis. This caused his injury and ruined his season.
He'll be back next season, mark my words. Definitely keep him at the club!

As Max said martin Kelly has gone to palace and put his injuries behind him but does people remember Ledley King he never trained because his knees we're that bad so they tailored a special training regime for him but with Sturridge he has all different type's of injuries so it would be hard to do one for him he has been injury prone throughout his footballing days for me I would give him one more season to prove his fitness to the team so he can get down to doing his job and scoring lot's of goal's maybe that Suarez has gone he won't have another scoring season like last season
