VvD has trained with Southampton all be it away from the frist team today. he's not on a private jet, not in a Mercedes van, he's in Southampton. Looks like he will remain there.

That being sad I do think it is highly unlikely LFC will get anyone else. Maybe Ox but that'll be it.

Just because he has turned up at training does not mean that he will not leave. He has always turned up at training, just been told to train alone. Which has been the case for the last few weeks.

These are international qualifiers for the World Cup. Serious stuff. Who's going to call up a player for these games, when he hasn't had one single competitive football game in 7 months? It's okay to have wet dreams about the guy (VVD), but come on.

I've got a friend who works in finance and does some work for the saints, he's also a saints fan. so pinch of salt needed here or a bucket load, but he is absolutely adament that Southampton will not, under any circumstances sell VVD to Liverpool. They are still seething and it will make a mockery of their complain to the FA. Be interesting to see if money talks if we do make a massive bid mind, but as it stands. VVD will never play for Liverpool, unless he goes to another club first.

In fact, it looks like us directly getting any more players from Southampton in the next few years is now a massive no go. He also went on to say that LFC are fully aware of this and haven't even re-opened any negotiators with Southampton over VVD as they know it's an impossibility. This same friend also said we will sign Clyne 6 months before it happened but also said we were close to signing to Rodriguez so he's certainly not in the know. Fingers crossed though, if we do get him I'll buy him a "Mary Poppins" T-shirt!
