Hi - first time poster but avid follower of the site, for years.
Amazing season with a disappointing end. That can be true without finger pointing. We will go again. With all the lows of the last day in the league and then Paris last night, we now contend with the contract situations that can't be put off any further.
Mane has been incredible. I've loved him. I remember last season when we were struggling and he looked a shadow of the player he was. This year has been better for him, but I do think we have had his best years and that he is now on the decline. That's the right way in terms of player recruitment: have them for their peak and sell when they begin their decline, whilst a value still remains. It was the same with Torres. His last 6 months for us, you could see he wasn't the same player and that proved to be correct. Giving mane a new crazy contract isn't in our interest. We want the next Mane.
Salah could be tired, due to the amount of games - or he could be declining too. I'm not sure. I want to believe the former, but my head says it's the latter.
All I know is is I trust our club. Jurgen is a red. He has extended his contract. A few months ago, more than any player - I would worry about how we only had a few years left with him. That has been abated, for a while! So celebrate reds. It's all good! I think we will replace mane and probably use Jota centrally. I think jota has been good centrally, and abismal on the wing.
Akira has been spot on recently- thanks for the info Akira. If it's gapko then so be it. He will grow. If it's dembele to support salah or Bowen to replace salah then so be it.
A dynamic cm in craved but let's wait and see. Klopp won't let us down. Remember where we were when he took over.
A loss to Madrid will not now make this believer turn back into a doubter.

If salah does push for the move (which I hope he doesn’t) I’d go for mbeumo from Brentford. Always impressed me and plenty of room to grow. I expect this won’t be a popular opinion.

Agree - kewell - I was so excited and remember the price being about £5m - steal! Just wasn’t the same player in red.
