Hi Eds, can you provide any insight into a couple of things: 1) the signing of Balotelli ahead of the likes of Remy or Bony (or even Wellbeck), who on the surface would have fit into our system much better? Is it purely a commercial decision on the basis that Balotelli would sell more shirts and get more media attention, or is there a belief that he will come good, despite a prolonged dip in form?
2) was selling Dan Agger as unpopular with the players as it has been with the fans? It just seems that morale and desire among the players is lower this year.
3) Do you think there's a sense that Rogers is delaying bringing Sturridge back when he could, just to avoid him going back on international duty? Do you think he'll be out for WBA as well?

(2) There was no question Agger would be going and players are generally as a group ambivalent to such things - but they are not the brightest as a group. (3) No, Sturridge has been injured. The club would not risk the player being played before he is ready. The manager would not have a player feign injury.}
