There is obvious interest in Suarez & maybe Cotinho from Athletico. Are there any teams with serious interest in Sturridge?

The "back four" & "defense" are 2 different things. The key is to have midfielders that can disrupt the moment of the opposing midfield. I would expect a midfield of Can, Handerson & Gerrard to restrict any midfield in the league.

If we miss out on CL next year & Suarez decides to leave could fans realistically be disappointed with him? Citeh, Arsenal & CFC realistically look like finishing in the top 3. Mata will have the same effect on the Mancs (Rooney/RVP/Januzaj/Wellbeck) as Ozil has had on Arsenal, really. Spurs have been a different team under TS & Adebeyor has been in fine form. Our attack is just as good as any other team in the league but Sturridge is injury prone. Many fans on here are not even keen enough to see what Lucas actually does for this team but he is our best player in terms of what he does. So many calls to see one of our most valuable players on the bench by people who claim to know football. They say we need somebody scoring goals from the midfield even though he anchors one of the most prolific attacks in the league. Do people realize how much money would command for Lucas when we realize what he does. He is injury prone as well. Its not doom & gloom its just having a realistic look at things. At least we've got Ibe let's see what he can do. I believe he would be perfect for the left wing. The thing about being talented is that u don't give damn about following the script. Bernard Hopkins is 49 but still a world champion b/c he could give a rat's @$$ about what the script says. Ali wasnt expected to beat Liston or Foreman but KO'd both beasts of men. Send Ibe out to war as a fearless young warrior with the words, "Bring us Joy, boy. Bring us Joy"!

Top 4 will look something like this; Man City, Chelsea, Man United & Arsenal. Suarez will leave. Don't be surprised to see Sturridge & Coutinho leave with him. Don't take this as a gloom & doom post its just realistic to expect players of their calibre to want to be competing in the Champions League.
