Hi eds - when a club 'registers an interest' in a player - how does it work? Is it simply a case of the club secretary sending a letter saying 'please keep us informed', or is there something more to it? {Ed030's Note - Everything is done through agents mate,It just means a club has let the players agent know they are interested in the player. }

With regard to Klopp . (Not that I think we'd get him anyway), but what's this about FSG being 'warned off him'? (Think it was Simon Hughes in the Independent who reported this . normally a decent journo).
Anything that can be added to this without saying anything too revealing / defamatory?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Odd question I know . but how do clubs normally sack managers? Do they ever sound out options before the deed? Do managers have agents in the same way as players? Who negotiates payoffs etc? Just wondering if there is any 'best practice' that a well run club should follow.

{Ed002's Note - There is no "normally" per se as managers depart clubs for various reasons and sometimes with little or no notice. It is unusual for discussions to have taken place directly with a replacement, but certainly not unusual to speak to an agent or other representative of a manager. It is also not unusual for a club to use a third party to make an approach to sound out possible replacements. Most managers do indeed have agents and it is those agents who will negotiate terms.}

Seeing as you're about 002. Has Liverpool/third party, been sounding out any managers ? In your factual opinion, do you think Rodgers is facing the boot any time soon?

{Ed002's Note - I understand from Macca that Liverpool has spoken with Ancelotti.}

Benny I know your probably trying but try get edd 001 or possibly 002 if he/she has the time get this manager situation out in the open and discussed if at all possible (without legal implications obviously) in a new podcast 😉

Congrats Eds on the welcome change to the atmosphere in here. It was both emabrrassing and depressing previously. It's like a breath of fresh air now. Good work! {Ed002's Note - Thanks.}
