Not a rumour but a question for EDs given that we keep losing out on these supposed 'marquee' signings.
I hear the excuse 'our valuation doesn't match what Spurs/Dortmund etc value players at' but do you think the supposed 20-30m for marquee signing(s) actually exists or is just to keep supporters happy?
If my maths are correct we've spent close to nothing net, after sales ( please correct if I have that wrong )

So with warrior (25m) & Standard Chartered (20M) annual sponsorship, we should have money to spend? or does this go towards trading loss & players wages/new contracts? If it doesnt, surely for the sake of 3/4m Willain/Soldado/Mkhitaryan et al should have been within at least matching offers? Thoughts? {Ed002's Note - You need to forget anything about money - it is simply not how it works.}
