Hey Eds long time reader, first time posting. I'm afraid i'm going to be one of those "oh no he didn't just ask about Torres did he posts". I saw this morning on sky mind you that he is being offered to English clubs on a free? Are Liverpool interested at all I know the history, and any time people brought him up I understand people getting bored of it but right now the way our team is looking I think he could do a job for us especially on a free (I know his wages may be an issue). They took a gamble on Mario for £16m and with Gerrard in recent weeks playing behind the striker I can't honestly see him doing a worse job than the current forward line. Plus I think Chelsea are really setup to play with a different type of striker which is why he didn't do so well there and going to Italy the whole league is very slow and never suited him in my eyes. But hey probably never going to happen but I thought i'd ask as he seems to be at a price we could afford this Jan. Thanks in advance.
