Hi eds, is there any interest in Sebastian Rode and Nico Gaitan from anyone. I think they would be very good buys for us. {Ed002's Note -Bayern Munich and Arsenal maintain an interest in Eintracht Frankfurt's midfielder Sebastian Rode.
My understanding is that Manchester United and PSG did speak with Benfica about Gaitan in January but no bid was made as the asking price was seen to be far too high. Interest from Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal will have waned. I understand that Benfica had an approach from Anzhi for Gaitan but the player has made it clear he has not any interest in talking to them - and they will by now have no further interest. Else, I understand that the interest still remains from Manchester United and PSG, but not at the price being asked. He would have been allowed to move this summer but Benfica did not drop their price, so nothing happened.}

I don't think we are too far off 4th. Last year we were twelwe points off. Reina did cost at least six, and I think Skrtel cost two. Now we have got Mignolet and Toure in, solid players that will not give away points. If we were 4 points of last year, then we are going to do better this year cause the team has been played together and they have played under Rodgers for some time.
