Brazilian links really getting into top gear now, looking good. A leading Liverpool private school has appointed a new Portuguese speaking interpreter ( good friend of my wife) at LFC's expense. They seem to be leaving no stone unturned in making Brazilians feel welcome.

A friend of mine works at Aston Martin in Wilmslow. They've had an enquiry from a dealer in Spain as to the possibility of doing a right hand drive conversion on a very precious car. Apparently money's no object as LFC are picking up the bill.

Looks like my Brazilian links have come off with the impending signing of Romulo. But now I've a serious tit-bit of transfer news that's excellent news. My brother-in-law works at HP's special projects division. They had a rush order in yesterday for a very special fax machine. Apparently it's been designed, built and shipped with a very special feature. It automatically adds 25% to any number prefixed by a £ sign. It's also engraved with the following: "To Ian, here's to many successful signings, best wishes, Brendan"
